Hello everyone who supports this budding Eagles blog.  In some small way, Dave’s efforts along with mine are paying off in a somewhat significant way today.  There was an article posted last week Philadelphia Eagles: Stats Show Andy Reid Struggles in Close Games.

I wrote it a lot out of frustration with the Giants having won a second Super Bowl over Brady and Belichick with a late touchdown drive.  Out of that frustration, I wanted to see if Reid was as unsuccessful as I thought in close games.  The research bore that theory out, and the article got some significant attention.

First it got some buzz on CSNPhilly.com in the comments of a Ray Didinger article.  Next, it was presented to 94.1 WIP morning show co-host Rhea Hughes.  She got into contact with Dave and is having me call into the show to discuss my findings with Angelo Cataldi.

This is a big opportunity for Dave and myself and the site as a whole.  I’m hoping all you guys that keep tabs on us will check it out.  Once again it is airing at 9:20 this morning on 94.1 WIP.  Thanks to all you readers and commenters for your support, and both of us hope it continues.
