All I want for Christmas is my two front…defensive linemen to sack the livng crap out of Tony Romo! 

The Eagles schedule was officially released last night and it calls for a Christmas Eve game against our most hated rival– and in their house–the Dallas Cowboys.  This could make for an extremely tense or happy holiday depending on the situation.  If the game is meaningful for the Eagles, the emotional stakes will be high and a loss means that Santa might get pummeled and Christmas gets cancelled.  But, if the Birds are just playing out the string of a disastrious season, the emotions won’t be too high except for with the true die-hards (such as myself).  Of course if Santa brings Philly a victory, he won’t have anything to worry about around here.  As a matter of fact, he might be left a cheesesteak and Yuengling instead of milk and cookies.

The Eagles all-time record on games played on Christmas Eve is 2-3.  In 2006 they beat Dallas 23-7 on Christmas Day.
