Alex's Lemonade Stand

Hey Philadelphia Eagles fans, and particularly those with young Eagles fans in training, I thought this might be of interest.

The below is a very worthwhile fundraiser for childhood cancer (who hasn’t heard of Alex’s Lemonade Stand?) and it sounds like something fun to do with your family…

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) will host the 3rd Annual Camp in for Kids’ Cancer presented by the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field this Saturday, May 18 through Sunday, May 19, 2013. The event features a cookout-style dinner, locker room tours, movies, ghost stories, and a sleepover at the stadium. Eagles players, cheerleaders, and SWOOP will also be making an appearance. Tents for guests who wish to stay overnight, or dinner tickets for those who are not staying over are still available at www.alexslemonade.org/campaign/camp-kids-cancer.

Top fundraisers are awarded with amazing prizes such as being able to set up their campsite and sleep on the actual field, special meet and greets with players and more. All funds raised from the event benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and the search to find a cure for all childhood cancers.
